Had a great night's sleep in the standard twin room with a balcony and a large TV. the breakfast spread was plentiful and diverse, offering options like porridge and a wide selection of food.

A Savonlinna bypass is currently being built which juts into the lake just across from the hotel, this made access a little difficult. The hotel is very outdated and the rooms are particularly shabby. The bathroom was in fact a wet room, and did get very wet. It is the only hotel I have ever stayed in where you have to make a request if you want your room to be done at the weekend; even though we weren't there at the weekend we got the impression that all that was done was the duvet straightened. The breakfast was also substandard.

The hotel's decoration is lovely, with elegant furniture and cozy seating areas throughout. It feels welcoming and comfortable for senior people. The general areas are well-maintained and easy to navigate, making it accessible for seniors.
I would have asked for more assistance from the children working there.

Amazing place to stay with perfect location 200m to the market square and good food. Location just next door to the centre of town, the center, and Saimma lake. Nearby Olutravintola Sillansuu - great place to chill out. Good service, parking on site...

Great spot at a bustling restaurant! the staff here are really nice. They offer gluten-free options for breakfast. However, the Carelian pies were a bit disappointing 🥧.

Our trip ended amazingly here! the hotel was reasonably priced, had a stunning view of the lake. the rooms were brand-new, spacious, and had practical bathrooms. the bed was super comfy and the breakfast spread was diverse. 😊
